Tele Blaster set (both pickups are the Gen-2 type)

You want really loud?  You want really great dynamic sound?  You want a Blast?  You found it here, the Tele Blaster set has our renowned Bridge Blaster and the new matching Neck Blaster, the loudest, most dynamic and most powerful Tele pickups alive that have Alnico rod magnets.  These pickups are so loud they match the loudness of a Gibson Les Paul or SG so players who complain about the loudness difference of their Fender and Gibson take note.

But, these clean up really really well, especially in out TK series Goodbye-Soldering harness.  Listen to the YouTube right side above.

One customer from Texas recently wrote "These are off the chart excellent!! I've tried so many conventional and noiseless....I'm fortunate I did not give up the search for the best. My search is over with Kinman. In my personal observation, these are so good, I'm retro-fitting all my guitars with Kinman. Thanks a million for THE BEST pick-ups made!!! Ciao Terry

You want the much loved in-between sound with both pickups on together?  Far from being sacrificed for loudness you'll get the BIGGEST Tele hollow cluck sound you've ever heard.  Yessirree Bob, all of that with Zero-Hum and then some.

Normally pickups this loud and fat sacrifice sonic character and dynamics but not Kinman's that have our marvelous Gen-2 technology.

If sharp twang is your thang a great alternative bridge pickup is the AVn-60b.  Read more detail about the individual pickups on the Single Pickup top Tab.

Zero-Hum and wax potted for Zero microphonic screech.  However, be aware that magnetic steel bridges compromise the hum cancelling ability of our Tele bridge pickups.  The solution is a non-magnetic Stainless Steel bridge made by Glendale Guitars in Texas.  They make 4 different kinds of Tele bridge with various Cut-Aways designed for comfort.  Highly recommended.  https://glendaleguitars.com/stainless-steel/

Best in a Kinman Goodbye-Soldering Harness.

Some people will call these noiseless Telecaster pickups but Kinman prefers to describe them correctly as Zero-Hum Telecaster pickups.  That's because there are 2 types of noise, Hum which is cancelled in the pickup and Buzz which can only be minimized by shielding the wiring cavities (refer to >Technical >Perfect Guitar >Shielding for newer guitars

Number of parts in this pickup: 172
Number of parts in normal pickup: 10

  • Tone pot is usually the same value as the volume but for a little more top end brightness can be 1meg or a No-Load.

We highly recommend consulting the Install Guide in Tech Info even if you think you know it all.  Kinmans' require specialized knowledge and sometimes there is updated info.  There is also a handy wiring diagram available.

We also highly recommend consulting the Adjust & Set-up page in Tech Info so you get the best out of your Kinman pickups.

** Alnico-K is a unique proprietary Alnico rod magnet developed by Kinman in 1985.  It is Alnico-5 but has 40% less string pull than Alnico-5 so sustain is longer and there is much less clatter from string crash and no Strat-itis string warble.

* Fender and Telecaster and Tele are registered Trade Marks of Fender Musical Instrument Corp, Inc.  Kinman is not associated with FMIC but they kindly permit us to refer to their Trade Marks to reference our products.

Loud and raucous but cleans up nice.

My wife got me a tele blaster set and they are by far the best sounding and feeling pickups I have ever played... I can just hit a chord or single note and get goosebumps. Absolutely in love with them and remind me why I picked up the guitar to begin with.  I hate playing other guitars now lol!  Thanks a million, Charles

Hello Everyone at Kinman! I know you're busy so I'll just briefly tell you that my Bridge Blaster installation was quick and easy, and I'm thrilled with the tone!! Loud and sparkly... But not too sparkly... It sounds fantastic. Thank you very much for the amazing product, and your great (and fast) service. Keep up the fabulous work and have a wonderful day...

Very easy install. I have tried it on four amps (early '90s Mesa/Boogie Mark III, late '70s Ampeg VT-40, new Epiphone Valve Junior and a class A 5 watt amp I designed and built). I have tried it with/without effects (Teese RMC-6 wah, MXR 108 fuzz, vintage mu-tron phasor II and Maxon AD999) and with/without reverb. I gotta hand it to you, this is a great pickup and it is dead quiet. It is a good match for the Burstbucker pro rhythm pickup I put in the neck position and I honestly have not found a bad sound out of this pickup. I've cranked up the mesa and the ampeg and not only is this thing noiseless but it handles everything I throw at it. Great dynamic range, nothing choked or whimpy, and the middle position sounds great too. I am very impressed. Well worth the wait. Thanks again!

Arrived by very fast shipping, thanks. Excellent pickup, kudos to Chris. It is everything that the website claims: quiet, w/ wonderful frequency balance. A great design. The Rick Kelly tele that I am using on is an amazing hand-made gtr (Dylan and Bill Frisell are two of the many notables who use Rick's guitars). Mine (scored on eBay last year, since orders are min 2 years out), has a great Fralin P92 neck pu, but it over-powered the Fralin bridge pickup. In addition to being a fantastic-sounding tele bridge pu (noiseless of course), your Bridge Blaster's extra output allows me to set the P92 higher to improve it's tone (I had it almost flush into the pickguard to balance with the bridge single coil). With the Bridge Blaster I have improved this great guitar, making it beyond superb. A very happy customer. (Already recommended Kinman to others - now, as an actual user...WOW) Thx,
