Jaguar for Bass V1

The Zero-Hum Blues-Jag (Impersonator MV aka modern vintage) is a great pickup for the Bass VI, it is dynamic and responsive and it has a slightly bolder sound.

We think a Texas Jalapeno v3 makes a great companion bridge pickup because it has higher output level that helps balance the loudness of bridge and neck.  It also has more piano-mid-tones and slightly less treble that agrees with bass.  It's sound is open and full of tone and we believe you'll love the experience.

Our ThickMaster (Jazzmaster) pickup is a perfect companion pickup for the bridge position of the Bass VI on the right above.  It produces a very dark but responsive sound as far as single coils go.  However there are other choices in the Jazzmaster section such as FatMaster and SurfMaster.  Tell us which one you'd love to have in the Notes box on the Order Form.

One more litte thing ... our magnet stagger is configured for bass and not for guitar like the photo above shows.

Some people will call these noiseless Jaguar pickups but Kinman prefers to describe them correctly as Zero-Hum Jaguar pickups.  That's because there are 2 types of noise, Hum which is cancelled in the pickup and Electrical Buzz which can only be minimized by shielding the wiring cavities (refer to >Technical >Perfect Guitar >Shielding for newer guitars

** Alnico-K is a unique proprietary rod magnet developed by Kinman in 1985.  It is Alnico-5 but has 40% less string pull than Alnico-5 so sustain is longer and there is much less clatter from string crash and no Strat-itis string warble.

* Fender, Strat, Jaguar and Jag are registered Trade Marks of Fender Musical Instrument Corp, Inc.  Kinman is not associated with FMIC but they kindly permit us to refer to their Trade Marks to describe our products.
